Salesforce Cloud Implementation

The Challenge

Our client in this case is a Colorado-based firm that specializes in providing customer-owned, community-based distributed and renewable (solar) electricity generation resources.  Initially using the base version of Salesforce.com, the company realized that it needed more out of the platform in order to grow the business.

The Solution

Sairoop recommended a move to the Enterprise level of Salesforce, and led the related implementation project. This included all planning, execution, implementation, integrations, customizations, comprehensive training, and full support for the new Salesforce functionality. For example, we created a set of “Custom Lead Assignment” rules for determination of who a sales lead should be assigned to when it comes in.  We also added functionality to track sales not just in dollars, but also in watts of power sold.

The Results

With just ten employees in 2012, this organization has experienced tremendous growth in recent years.  The firm now has over 70 full-time workers. Moreover, it has built or has under development more than 90 community solar projects across the United States. Sairoop’s significant contribution to the way the firm manages its sales process goes hand-in-hand with the company’s strong growth.
