Our client in the DTC is looking for a candidate to be part of a great team. It’s a larger company with an established presence that serves clients nationwide. It’s a great place to work for a structured environment to help you focus on developing code.
** What You’ll be Doing
You’ll be developing Java as a part of a corporate codebase.
You’ll develops new web services as Microservices that will deployed in a Tomcat framework hosted in a Cloud Foundry Platform-as-a-Service environment
You’ll design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance Practice test-driven development in an Agile/Scrum environment
You’ll provide technical support and guidance for cloud based adoption and transition including RESTful web services
** What we’re Looking For
5+ years of experience working with Java development
3+ years of experience in developing web service applications using WSDL/SOAP and REST is essential
Experience using Spring Framework, JPA, Cloud-deployable applications Familiarity with PaaS (Platform as a service) concepts would be a huge plus
Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
