Integration of DocuSign with Salesforce for Mortgage Loan Servicing Firm

The Challenge

Our banking client was looking at leveraging DocuSign integration for salesforce to allow the mortgage process to leverage DocuSign integration. The financial institution was using our custom loan origination system.

 

  • Allow any randomly created Loan application form, Credit disclosures and various other forms that were dynamically generated by the system to be packaged and sent for DocuSign signature
  • Capture signature evidence in the back-end system to allow loan processor to be updated on the status of documents.
  • Ability for documents to be resent when the loan information was modified
  • Complex compliance requirements
  • Prevent manual intervention

The complete process from requirement gathering to delivery was performed within a small sprint from requirement, design, development, testing, UAT and release to production.

We performed seamless integration of DocuSign in the complete loan origination process by keeping all the parties updated at all times. Loan Officers and Processors had to just perform a single click and the end to end automation process took care of the entire document management process. The document once prepared in the back-end loan origination system was sent over to salesforce that gathered the recipient information and the proper routing rules to send the documents to the borrowers and/or loan officers. Once signed, the document’s signature statuses were integrated back into salesforce and the back-end systems.

The Results

  • Created paperless environment which helped them to quickly locate and disseminate information, access client information faster, save on postage and printing expenses and helped automate back-ups.
  • Helped them increase their productivity and efficiency by making sure every agreement is digital and accessible from anywhere in the world.
  • This translated to more satisfied users and faster turnaround time for the client.
